V Bratislave 9. júla 2021 – Lekári Národného ústavu detských chorôb (NÚDCH) úspešne operovali malého pacienta s raritnou kraniostenózou. Dieťa malo predčasne zrastené všetky lebečné švy a deformita hlavičky spôsobovala útlak mozgového kmeňa, čo ho ohrozovalo na živote. Už krátko po operácii sa prvýkrát v živote usmialo.
