Naše Centrum pre cystickú fibrózu na Klinike detskej pneumológie a ftizeológie
sa stalo súčasťou prestížneho projektu “Twinning Expansion Project,” organizovaného Európskou spoločnosťou pre cystickú fibrózu (ECFS). Tento projekt spája centrá z rôznych krajín, aby podporil dlhodobú spoluprácu v oblasti klinickej praxe, multiodborovej starostlivosti a výskumu.
Našim partnerským centrom je Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center v Hospitall Universitario Vall d´Hebron v Barcelone – najväčšie centrum cystickej fibrózy v Španielsku a prvé stretnutie sme zorganizovali tieto dni, počas ktorých nás navštívila pani prof. Silvia Gartner, vedúca partnerského centra.
Počas dvoch intenzívnych dní sme mali príležitosť prezentovať projekt kolegom, stretnúť sa s viacerými odborníkmi z nášho tímu a špecialistov na respiračnú fyzioterapiu, či zástupcov pacientskych organizácií. Tešíme sa na ďalšie kroky v tejto spolupráci, ktorá prináša nové možnosti pre našich pacientov.
