Tak ako každý rok, aj dnes sa na Klinike detskej hematológie a onkológie (KDHaO) LF UK a NÚDCH uskutočnila tradičná Predvianočná vizita. Malých pacientov a personál kliniky navštívili prezident SR Peter Pellegrini, minister zdravotníctva Kamil Šaško a riaditeľ NÚDCH Peter Bartoň. Vizitou sprevádzala prednostka kliniky prof. MUDr. Alexandra Kolenová, PhD. Spoločne navštívili deti na izbách aj v herni. Pán prezident Peter Pellegrini sa rozprával s deťmi a ich rodičmi, zaželal im pokojné Vianoce, skoré uzdravenie a pevné zdravie. Počas bežných vizít počas roka sa lekári a sestry s pacientmi a ich rodičmi rozprávajú najmä o zdravotnom stave dieťaťa, možnostiach liečby a jej priebehu. Predvianočná vizita má iné poslanie – povzbudiť deti a ich rodiny, priniesť im kúsok sviatočnej atmosféry a zaželať im pokojné a šťastné Vianoce s nádejou, že sa ich zdravotný stav zlepší a budú sa môcť čo najskôr vrátiť domov.
