V Bratislave 28. januára 2021 – Národný ústav detských chorôb (NÚDCH) spustil do prevádzky urgentný príjem II. typu – prvé pracovisko svojho druhu na Slovensku určené pre detského pacienta. Stalo sa tak potom, ako najväčšia detská nemocnica na Slovensku splnila podmienky Ministerstva zdravotníctva SR pre zariadenia zaradené do minimálnej siete urgentných príjmov II. typu. Súčasťou urgentného príjmu je aj nové jedinečné prístrojové vybavenie.
